When Creative People Collaborate

A couple of weeks ago I got my hair cut by this awesome lady with the red hair named Jess!  She is an awesome hair stylist and conveniently for me super photogenic! :D  I was mostly in the pictures taken by Kaitlyn (also pictured below!) but I took most of the pictures of Kaitlyn because Jess also did her awesome Ombre hair colour! And on top of that there was yet another gorgeous person to take pictures of as well named Amy :D  It was so great to meet up with other creative people and especially another photographer! It's so much fun to see how different people work.

Old School

Today was my sister's first day of school so I got up early to tease her when she left :D  This meant I got to see the awesome light in my backyard! I absolutely love the way the sun rises in this spot.  It looks so pretty and magical :)  Since I hadn't taken a real picture of my new hair since I got it done I thought I would take some self portraits here.  However I failed to remember my sister had my tripod in the car she took! So these are super old school hand held self portraits :D  Not easy with that super heavy 5d Mark ii hanging on my wrist!  But I managed to get a few in focus amazingly! These are nothing too amazing just something to do to cure my boredom until a senior shoot this evening! :)

I had a lovely time shooting this mini editorial. I am trying to get in as much personal work as possible this summer while I can take pictures of Kinley, pictured below.  Hope to have another one up soon!
